The best Chinese in the area by.far.. Most places don’t even hold a candle to Golden Buddha. This place does. The hot and sour soup is really good here . I havn’t had a bad meal here yet and I’ve had most of the menu. My favorites are the spicy seafood noodle soup, spicy maki combo, spicy basil chicken, and of course the general tao’s chicken. The only place I have had better sushi is the Tai Diner at sugarloaf mills mall.
Speaking in what?. Cooper: Speaking in Oriental? Seriously?
The sushi was terrible.
My wife, kid, and I have had just about everything on the extensive menu, including sushi, and haven’t had a bad meal yet. By far our favorite Oriental cuisine!!
Awesome Food & Service. Absolutely love the food, atmosphere and staff at Oriental J. Always willing to accomodate and will substitute different vegetables that come with entrees for ones I prefer. Dining alone or with friends, this is by far one of best & friendliest restaurants in Gwinnett County!
Good Food, Bad Service!!. I took my entire family to eat, and the waitress would bring parts of my order instead of the full order. I ordered The Triple Mongolian, and she served it without the rice, I asked for my rice and she angrily said you will get it. I noticed that the other patrons would get their full ordered delivered, and my table was the only one with partial service. At one point the waitress, began speaking in oriental when we asked her a question. Now it should be noted that the only unique characteristic about my table is that i am African American. The manager was really nice, he stopped and asked how was the food and then quickly went to another table. The waitress was nervous around the manager because she came to my table and stood starring at the manager while he was talking to another table petrified that they might say something about her service. I had to wave my hand and raise my voice to get her attention. Shockingly, the other older waitress, would walk by my table and look at it, and whenever i tried to talk to her she would frown and walk away quickly. I am really disgusted that in the year 2012 i now have to contend with discrimination from Asian waitresses. Although the service was terrible, i still tipped the waitress at 15% and left the establishment without any type of scene. I say this to all Americans, we all all imigrant unless we are native American’s and i will protest by never visiting this business again and ask you do the same until they make an effort to respect all American and not a select group. Protest, or your race will be next in a few years, this has been proven by history!!
Check yourself I you dont like this. I have been around the world a few times and have visited and lived in foreign countries. I love a great oriental restaurant that provide a great menu, present it well and have the food fresh and very good. My family and I have found that with OJs and love the place. When have been going there in persona and ordering take out since it opened. They have proven to be a first class business with a great owner, Bill, great and frsh sushi, great staff and an awesome sit down restaurant. I have recommended this restaurant to 20-30 people and not one has ever complained about the service or the food. I love the Thai spicy foods offfered and despite what was written earlier..I have found 3-5 items that are smoking hot and still great enough to have flavor!A hidden treasure in north Georgia. Shhhhhhh!! Enjoy some sake or a tiger, or tsinghai beer.
