Not a Positive Dining Experience!. First I would like to say this was my first bad experience at this particular restaurant. My husband & I have eaten here many times in the past and never had any complaints with great experiences with the servers & the food! I took my Mom to this restaurant for her 77 th Birthday lunch. We arrived around 12:50. We were pleasantly seated by the hostess. The problem began with the surly server. WE could not understand a word he was saying & he seemed out of it & unconcerned, he really needs a lesson in customer service, not even sure what his name was, because we could not understand him! We ordered our luncheon salads which took forever. Everyone around us that were seated after we arrived were receiving their soups etc..we finally received our salads after after asking about them~ we asked for different salad dressing since we really did not care for the dressing that was served. It seemed like such an inconvenience to the server~the salads were not very tasty & we just did not eat them & he cleared the plates..tick tock tick tock..we noticed that everyone that were seated after us was now receiving their meals. We asked the server where our food was..he stated that he was trying to space our food out ???? I explained to him that it had been over 30 minutes & everyone around us had received their food…he then came back & stated that one order went in before the other order???? I told him we needed that this was taking way too long..he asked if he could place in a to go bag..I stated no..we came here to eat??..I asked to speak with a Manager. The Manager came over & introduced herself & shook my hand. I explained that we had arrive around 12:50 & it was now 1:35 and still had received our food and that we needed to leave…and tried to explain our experience..she never apologized & I did offer to pay for our drinks..she stated that she would take care of the food & drnks which was expected since the food was still was not ready, still no apology…I could not believe that she seemed somewhat arguemenative & did not really care! I really am not one to leave negative & really hate to complain about one of our favorite places to dine~however felt the need to do so since this was My Mom’s birthday & it turned out so negative~otherwise I probably would just chalked it up to a bad experience~
Been going here for years and it is consistant. Bar is slow on drinks but the food always makes up for this. Dinner is the time to go. Lunch is never fast. You get your money here. Heard Michael, Regional GM, has left so we will have to dee how things changed. I have known him for 12 years and he runs a tight team. Let’s see what happens.

Meh. Plain and simple, if you think PF Changs has good Chinese food, then you don’t know Chinese food. PF Changs is to Chinese food what Olive Garden is to Italian. Take a trip to any of the great Chinese places on Buford Highway and see what you have been missing instead.
Too pricey for the product. I love P.F. Changs and it used to be one of my favorite restaurants for Asian cuisine in Buford. Lately, I have noticed two changes that annoy me. First of all, the prices have seem to sky rocketed as of late. I used to love this joint because of it’s economical price. Lately, not only have the prices gone up, but the portions of the food have been scaled down. Doesn’t seem to add up, does it? Probably more to do with the economy than anything. However, if I’m paying $15-18 dollars for a dish, I expect more than a few spoonfuls of food for a chain bistro. Also, the food at this particular restaurant can be inconsistent. One visit proves good, delicious hot food, and the next visit the food can be stale, and quite frankly not as good as your local Chinese buffet. Regardless, I will still eat here, but hope to expect some positive changes in the near future.
G-R-O-S-S. We chose PF Changs for lunch today because we’d liked it when we ate here about two years ago. Today’s experience ensures we will never return. We had to send back plates and silverware because it was dirty. Our drinks stayed empty a lot of the time in a mostly empty restaurant. The crispy honey chicken was mushy, NOT crispy. It tasted no different than the hole in the wall Chinese take out in a strip mall. The waiter informed my husband that his salmon would be seared and served medium rare. What arrived at our table was a mushy undercooked mess-NOT sushi grade salmon that is appropriate to serve rare. The waiter did take it back to be cooked further, and after adding a lot of salt, my husband was able to eat about half of it. The salmon came with four of the saddest looking pieces of asparagus I have ever seen. They were skinny and limp and so tough they were inedible. I was disgusted with this restaurant and will never go back here.
The best place to eat! I love Asian food of all kinds, but this place has the best and I know I won’t have an MSG reaction. Very good deal for the money. Have never had anything that I didn’t love!
