Pizza. My husband and I are new to the area. We love pizza and ordered a vegetarian and a Sophia’s special the other night. I have to say we were very disappointed. The crust is too thick and the sauce tasted like someone opened a can of tomato sauce. No flavor!! I think we would have been better off with frozen pizza!
They need to post sign warning; if you’re Spanish or Black we do not want your business!! The WORST service from Sophia herself. My Spanish family will NEVER return.
Not Closed, Amazing Food.. Sophia remembers me when I come in, even if I have been away for a few weeks.The food is amazing. My favorite dishes are the Chicken Frances and Stuffed Shells w/Chicken topped with Spinach and Sun Dried Tomatoes.I have brought many friends to this place over the years and have never been disappointed.I am a fat man and I know where to eat!!! This place has the most amazing Alfredo sauce I have ever tasted.Go, Eat, Enjoy.
Sophia’s Italian Cafe Lawrenceville. Sophia’s always has excellent food for a great price. Unfortunately, their wine selection is sadly lacking. We enjoy Cabernet and Chardonnay wines and find the house wine, Canyon Road, to be terrible and just can’t drink it. We have suggested better wine several times and we go back occasionally, hoping they have added better wine, to no avail. We ended up buying bottles of wine and taking the remainder home. We will probably not go back even though the food is good! Sophia…listen to suggestions. There are plenty of nice chardonnays and cabernets but your house wine is not one of them. The last thing I want on a Friday or Saturday night, after a hard work week, is a completely sub par glass of wine with a wonderful meal.

A Hidden Gem!. The other night was my first time at this restaurant and I found it by mistake. The food was great and the free salad and garlic bread is a plus!!! Sophia’s has great service, great food and very authentic. Give it a try.
Deliziosa!!!!. They have good specials. My favorite is the seafood alfredo. Italian food at its finest!!!
