Friend, son & I decided to take a quick trip to GA 2 weeks ago. Decided we had to try The Varsity. Now I can say I have. I thought the consistency of the chili on the dogs to be great, but it was bland. The rings were greasy, but tasty. Been there, no need to rush back!
Your throw-back-in-time greasy burger joint is alive and well! Rings, lightly battered thick chunks of onion and oh soo tasty with all that grease. Burgers, moist with oil, fresh lettuce and tomato. The orange aide is a let down….not much more than sweetened sugar water!
Bad very bad. The varsity is a very bad place it is so overrated do not vist the bergers and hotdogs where smashed and cold so please beware do not do here and the way it looks on the menu is very good but when u rec your order its like garbage donot visite
Whata ya have?. Gone are the Days the Varsity was the King! Food prices are one reason to go elsewhere for veggies as you can pay the same and less! Still, the friendly, fast service is nice.
Tried Varsity for the first time and am definately disappointed. Had a chili dog and a chili hamburger. The chili was bland and there was nothing extraordinary about the dog or hamburger patty. In top of that the onion rings were soggy with oil dripping off of them. I may try Varsity again but I’m not going out of my way again to do so.
The Varsity used to be a good deal. Now, not so much. 7 bucks for hotdogs, fries and a drink is a bit pricey. I’ll still visit, but much less often.
