Pueblos was an excellent choice after a bad experience across the street. The food was extremely fresh and the server was very sweet and attentive. We ended up being the only ones in the restaurant after a large group left around 2:30 on a Saturday but she wasn’t bothered by our presence nor overly attentive. I would definitely return when in the area!
Is Pueblos on Thompson Bridge Road under new ownership or management??. We have eaten here for several years and although it’s kind of a pricey place for Mexican food, the food was good. We have gone twice this year and are very disappointed. Fajitas had no flavor whatsoever the first time we ate there this year. On the second trip my fajita shrimp quesadilla (which cost more) came with nothing but shrimp and cheese and french fries (I ordered rice) and was cut up for a child. When I told the waiter this isn’t what I ordered he took the plate back an instead of getting what I had ordered, he added grilled veggies to it and brought a side of rice. He failed to take all of the fries off the plate. It was awful. We weren’t charged for it and the waiter was friendly, however we will not go back. When we go out to eat, we go to enjoy a dinner out. We don’t go to try and get free food. Will not go back.
Going downhill fast. We have eaten here numerous times over the years and it was very good until the past year. I don’t know what the problem, maybe different kitchen staff. My favorite item on the menu, until tonight was chicken chi mayo. The chicken was overly seasoned, the shrimp microscopic and rubbery. The sauce used to be thick as it is honey and peppers and was sweet, then hot. Tonight,It was watery and bland. The beans had a sour flavor and the rice was covered in diced tomatoes(used to come out with a slice to garnish). Chips tasted stale and salsa was heat with no flavor. My husband ordered a chimichanga with grilled chicken (extra 2.00) and the chicken had the same weird seasoning as mine. His refried beans were grey and watery. This town has numerous Mexican restaurants to choose from and I am choosing to stay away? Poor choice for a birthday meal. The 40 bucks would have been better spent down the sidewalk at Kroger.
The pork Carnitas were the best I have ever had! My husband had the fajitas and the meat was beautifully cooked and delicious! We will be back!
The food is delish & the employees are friendly as well as attentive.
Tilapia Vera Cruz us very good. The Thompson Bridge store us run very well. Consistent good food quality and solid service. My only beef is the live entertainment. Face it guys, this location is not fit for live entertainment…its too small and its a family restaurant/watering hole for gosh sake! Not a nightclub holding auditions for wimpy acoustic warbling troubadours. End the live stuff and get back to making my food awesome. That’s what your business is.
