Breakfast has really went downhill. Biscuits are really salty and I can no longer stand to eat them. Used to be better. Got a biscuit with egg and cheese and the salt was overbearing and couldn’t taste anything … but salt. I realized this is probably me because I eat very little salt but I just can’t eat it.

Shoddy at Best. Been living in the area for 2 years; eating regularly at Reid’s… because as one blogger said – I was starving.. and they are the only ticket in town. So I guess this is why they are going downhill with their overcooked dry fried chicken, their smaller than the bun sized freezer burned burgers, and inconsistent staff & other items. The ONLY item on the menu that is always great is the coleslaw & it is amazing. We wish their quality would come back to where it was.

2nd time. Went to Reid’s Cafe once again today, Christy helped us, and once again everything was excellent. The BBQ Pork was good. Both my wife and I liked it. The rolls were very good with honey. The cole slaw was very tasty. Oh yeah, the chocolate milk was outstanding also. Wife ordered chicken and chicken liver and she loved it. Our meal was a little over $15. What a deal!13 Jun, 2013Wow!. Went to this place for the first time today and was definitely impressed by the prices, the food, and the service. Jessica and Christy helped us out, they made sure we were happy and enjoying our visit. 20 wings for only $8.60! Went down hwy. 129 and stopped by The Dawg House and they wanted $15.95 for 18 wings. We got a deal, the wings were hot and tasty(mild), and they were full of meat. Wife had two hot dogs with fries. She didn’t say, although her plate was empty, so it seems she must have enjoyed it. We got a banana/peanut butter milkshake for only $2.35 and that was gone quickly. We both enjoyed that also. You must stop by Reid’s Cafe when you’re in Murrayville, Dahlonega, Gainesville, Cleveland, or even in Helen, Ga. If you don’t you’ll regret it later.
