Loved this place. Obviously the food and service were fantastic but at this particular location, the original story is available for all to hear. It was a neat place to visit and to fill my belly.
Good food. The food is probably as good as any comparable eating place. Dwarf House seems to be a very popular spot. Prices seemed a bit high to me compared to Barbecue Kitchen (not far away and about half the price for breakfast).If you put together a Waffe House and a standard Chick-fil-A, you would probably have a Dwarf House.I was going regularly until I got a disapproving look from a waitress (I have a beard). I took the hint and took my business elsewhere.
Great Food. Being a west coast boy, I had never tried Chick-fil-A until last week. While passing through Atlanta I dropped in for a spicy chicken sandwich with my lovely girlfriend and my wonderful sister. The sandwich was out of this world compared to other fast food places and we loved their cross-cut fries.
We took our kids here to do the touristy thing. The idea of this being the very first CFA excited them to no end. We were not disappointed. Our waitress made a big deal out of showing them the little red door, and of course we ordered a hot brown to celebrate the occasion. This will probably end up becoming a tradition for us. We’ll definitely be back.
Delivery – NOT!. Delivery to me means that I can call and place an order when I’m too tired to cook. Their delivery is a $100 minimum order, which is more like catering.
Ah the sides…you MUST try the sweet potatoe souffl!
Not the average Chick-fil-a. While one half of this place is the average Chick-fil-a, the other half is somewhere between a waffle house and a small dinner (yes, sit down booth and counter service). I had a huge breakfast of eggs, ham, grits, and a couple (and I really mean 2) big buttery biscuits. Certainly better than a waffle house. Also looks like some other sandwich and meal options throughout the day, but certainly not a HUGE departure from what kind of food offered by CFA. Good for what it is and certainly nice folks serving.
