Great atmosphere, quirky wine list and the food was spot on what you’d expect from a trendy bistro. Had salmon with goat cheese and blueberry sauce that paired really well with a Pinot Nero from the wine list. Shrimp cocktail came with a slightly spicy tomato salsa that was perfect on a hot day.
We were looking for a nice sit down restaurant with clear proximity to the airport. Our waiter was attentive. If in the area you’ll definitely want to try it. The pasta had a sun dried tomato flavor to it. The shrimp was very succulent. We had a crab dip also. Will return
Don’t Miss This Restaurant!. We stumbled on this true gem when looking for place close enough to the airport to grab a bite. I can’t say enough about Volare. Intimate, charming, great ambiance, no tv’s hanging from the ceiling to distract from enjoying your companions, lovely staff and owner, and best of all … really great food. We were there at an odd hour, about 3:30PM, so we ordered from the lunch menu. Two of us ordered the Shrimp Po Boy with a side Caesar Salad and it was amazing. When a chef can transform what is usually an unremarkable dish into a really delicious and beautifully presented feast these guys have something wonderful going on. I don’t remember what my husband ordered but his reaction was the same. We live at least 45-minutes away yet look forward to many return visits. The dreaded trip to the airport just took on a whole new meaning. I think this would be a great venue for a private party. Parking in the back and on the street makes access easy. This is the first time I have reviewed a restaurant. But Volare is so good it would be selfish not to share this find with all of you.
Incredible food at surprisingly good prices. The food here was incredible and blew us out of the water. Portions were bigger than we expected and they were willing to adjust orders as needed. Lots of rotating daily specials. 10% off for Delta employees
Scrumptious. Since we were stopping for an early dinner and while sitting on the back deck had a chance to talk with the wife and husband team of Charlotte (the chef) and Michael (the maitre d). Charlottes experience of living in Spain and Italy is brought to the tables of Volare BistroMichael was very knowledgeable on the cheese and meat selection and our choices match the description and were very tasty.His knowledge of the wines helped us select a wine to our liking, both bottles.Entrees selected were orders of the small plate size 2 -Filet Rioja, Tossed Caprese and The Edge insalates. Since the plates were clean going to the dishwasher speaks for itself.We shared desserts consisting of the coconut chocolate cake, the chocolate cardamom Pot du crme and the mixed berries with scream were all scrumptious.Looking forward to going back again and having been open only five weeks or so are on their way to becoming a favorite in Hapeville Bill
