No Surprises. It’s just what you’d expect from this chain restaurant. Reasonably priced (especially on the Senior menu) competently-prepared food, pleasant staff. Never have cared for their desserts, even though that’s their big selling point. Not great, but not bad.
Great muffins too!. Perkins Restaurant and Bakery offers a wide selection to satisfy your cravings from breakfast (available all day) through dinner. The food is well prepared and tasty. My favorites include Eggs Benedict, Chicken Pot Pie, Turkey & Dressing….and those muffins – WOW! They’re a real treat at any meal or for a snack! The dining room is clean and attractive, and it offers plenty of seating which includes the flexibility to put tables together to accommodate larger groups. Pricing is reasonable. On the down-side, they have a tendency to spread their staff too thinly, occasionally creating service that seems rather slow at times. It’s a good chance to practice patience – just relax and remember that anything worth having is worth the wait! We’ve been there a number of times, and will certainly return.
