Typical chain restaurant fair and ambience. What makes this place unique in a frustrating way is the crowds. There is almost always a 30 minute to an hour wait, even though there is more than a dozen other restaurants within walking distance. The service and food preparation is below average but that is to be expected in this area as the quality of the hiring pool has deteriorated drastically in the last 10 years.

We order their cheddar’s painkiller which had some coconut cream which did not go well in the drink I told the manager that I did not like it and he said we still had to pay for it. It went south from there my salad was over dress the soup had too much cheese on top, I was sick that their not not cater to healthy eating. No service, bad food.
Awful experience. We stopped on our way to Florida. We have Cheddars back home, but have never had such an awful experience. Waited well over an hour and only received half of our appetizer. After about an hour and 20 minutes we left. Stopped the manager on the way after he ignored our table during his walk through. He was confrontational and very rude.
In general they are a great restaurant but don’t waste your time at this one! No food after being seated for an hour. Manager avoided our table and was extremely rude when confronted. Finall just left. This location is an embarrassment to the Cheddars family.
Always Delivers Great Food/Service/Value. We’ve been to this location several times since it’s opening and have been extremely impressed by the quality of food, overall value, and the friendly, well-trained staff. (Most places will get you one or the other but Cheddar’s in McDonough delivers it all.)This location is almost always full, being within a half mile of I-75 and at a very busy shopping corridor. I don’t know how they do it but even at their busiest, they manage to get you in fairly quickly. The staff has always been very knowledgable about the menu and helpful in any way possible.The menu offers many delicious items that will fit almost any appetite. You also won’t leave hungry as each item offers generous proportions.The atmosphere is great. You don’t get the feel of a chain restaurant and everything is always in order and clean, despite so many people coming in and out continuously. The most surprising feature about this place are the prices. You can get a 12 oz. ribeye or a FULL rack of ribs, with two sides, for $14 bucks…and it’s good!! Quality AND value are sometimes hard to find these days.If you are traveling, (or even a local who hasn’t yet given it a try), I highly recommend it. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
Outstanding! Service was excellent. Seated us immediately and the parking lot was full! Had the vege plate and the shepherds pie-both were delicious. Chicken tortilla soup was spicy but good. Lemonade had pulp and tasted fresh squeezed-all for under $25 including tip! Will be back fer sure.
