My husband has found chicken bones in his chicken nachos three times in the past year. We now go to a much better Mexican restaurant just a few miles away with better service, prices, and food.

BEST Mexican restaurant in the area!!!. Oh. My. Goodness!!!!Where do I begin?!!?!!Staff- Excellent, our waitress was literally lightening fast, with ordering, drinks, refills, and our food came out in a flash… Seriously, I haven’t received that kind of service in a VERY long time! Food – Chips & Salsa, good heat, chips were the best, very thin, strong, and unsalted, perfection! Appetizer – We decided on the La Parilla Dip, and holy moley, it is soooo delicious!!!!! That bowl was stuffed with steak, chicken, and shrimp in a deep, rich blanco dip. I could have ordered that just for my meal ALONE… it came with tortillas, and it was great on both those, and the tortilla chips.Main dish – I chose the Chimi Rica, and it was STUFFED with meat!!! came with everything you could think of, and being that it was a chimichanga with rice and beans, I had to go for it! Husband ordered the Burrito a La Parrilla, with steak, and it too, was cooked to perfection!!!!For a $35 meal with appetizer and drink, it blows out the big named restaurants out of the water, and the waitress was tipped WELL due to the excellent service and attentive attitude! If I could put 6 stars, I WOULD!!!

Taco loco; 3 enchiladas; chips & salsa.. Plenty good and one of our top 5 Mexican food restaurants in the area. It’s big and busy; seating is very open / not private. This was our first time to THIS location but it’s comparable to their other locations. Service was very attentive. Food was tasty and nicely presented.

Great Salad. Loved this salad…with wonderful greens, beef and the mango dressing was something I could eat many times. It was the best I have had in a long time. whstonemandining.blogspot.com

This is the best Mexican food in Henry and honestly one of the best restaurants in Henry. The fried shrimp tacos are awesome. The breading they use tastes kind of like Chic Fil A (which is dope). All in all you can’t go wrong here.

Best in Henry. So you live in Henry County and you like good food. Well unless you are a good cook and want to cook at home, your options are quite limited for a decent meal. I am naturally suspect of the generic food at chain restaurants. But somehow, La Parrilla at this particular location manages to be a chain restaurant and still produce amazing food at reasonable prices with decent service. The Fayette and Newnan locations pale in comparison. Somehow this location has perfected the magic formula to consistently provide me and my loved ones with a great meal.My favorite is a burrito with rib eye steak. Margaritas are fantastic. Chips and salsa are passable. My mouth has its own fiesta every time we eat here! The only drawback is the massive wait time because everyone else in Henry County apparently has also realized this is the best restaurant in town. Go during off hours between regular meal times to skip the line.

Delicious!. New to Griffin, GA, my husband I spend a lot of time exploring nearby places, especially with food in mind. Our Verizon lady actually is the person who told us to check out La Parilla, and she deserves a raise for doing so!We were floored the first time we ate here, the food was just so good! My husband got the steak tacos and I got the pork tips in salsa verde (can’t remember what they are actually called) and we were just really impressed with the seasoning and freshness that you could taste in the food. I say he won the ordering war… the steak tacos have been ordered on several return visits. We also ordered a pitcher of sangria one time– not for the faint of heart! I can’t say I could tell a traditional sangria from an Americanized one, but it was delicious regardless. We won’t be ordering it again, however, unless there are more than just the two of us working on it. (Still, a friend was visiting us, and we don’t get D.D.’s very often, so we took the opportunity.)We are actually going tonite! Can’t wait for the mariachi band!
