Nothing Special. My husband and I ate here for lunch while we were working in the area. The food was very bland and the service was slow. It was lunchtime, but there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. We probably won’t go again.
Change the name to stinky crappus waited over a hour for cold food that was supposed to be hot I am diabetic asked for diet coke he gave me regular coke taco bell taste better drive further down the road to el agave its better then for all our troubles we got a free cheese dip I will never go back
NO GOOD!!!. Took my family there for the first and LAST time. Service was EXTREMELY slow and the food sucked!!!!
Pass on this place!!!!. Ate there when they first opened…food was terrible…Everyday Mexican dishes were nothing like I had ever seen or tasted…Waitresses were constantly apologizing for food and told us they were trying to hire Los Portales cook…I wrote it off as a New opening…Recently I got take out…worse than the first time…price was way too high..food still tasted horrible…portion sizes were really small..especially the cheese dip….I am guessing that they never got the Los Portales cook…..I would suggest you drive on over to El Agave on Jonesboro Rd. or down to the new location of Los Portales…Both are GREAT……
Disappointed. I’ve been about (5) times hoping they were just having a few bad days, and trying something different each time. The food is NOT good at all. We love Mexican food and it is so close to our house, but I just can’t bring myself to go back. They really need to fire the cooks, and start all over.
We’re going back for sure!. Sunday evening we went to the Sticky Cactus. All 4 of us enjoyed our food. The tableside Guacamole is AMAZING! Our food arrvied at our table hot and fresh! The amount of food we received was of good portion. The dcor of the restaurant is very clean, classy and nice! We can’t wait to head back over! If you have tried it once, go back and try it again. They have made changes in their management and kitchen staff! You will see a difference for sure!
-Lisa. There are just so many more mexican restaurants better than this. I agree with other reviewer about the size of the cost of the food. Cheese dip came in a tiny dish priced the same as a good full size serving at El Agave. I ordered the steak quesadilla. When i opened it to add salsa the were only a very small amount of steak spread out with a few peppers. I was really disappointed as this place is just up the street from where I live. Can’t find one reason to go back.
