For those local dinners that have eaten at Capers, they have actually relocated from downtown Kennesaw, to a strip center at Old Hwy 41 and Barrett Parkway; but remain in Kennesaw. I had to visit to see if the quality would also move to the new location. Known as Capers On Main, owner Veronica Dudley may have moved to a new location, but rest assure, the same rustic, Tuscan charm still exist at this locally owned restaurant. Priding herself on savory food with a Mediterranean atmosphere, I cannot think of better food, better service and hospitality than I have received on my two visits to this establishment.See full review at joannsfoodbites.com Look under restaurant review tab
I have been here four times and each time is amazing. Food is alway consistent. I’ve had the bruschetta, house salad, fried catfish, stuffed salmon, fried shrimp. All were good, definitely will be coming back
Tried Capers last night. Had a party of 16. I thought the bar and overall feel of the place was superb! Menu was great! I asked for a small variation on a dish and was immediately told it was no problem. If I was rating this restaurant on a 1-10 scale I would give it a 9.. One of the couples with us didn’t get their salad or main course with the rest of our party. I think they may have forgotten to put in their order. There were two servers helping us. One was very nice and did a great job. The other was unfriendly and almost seemed to blame one of our friends when her food came out late and wrong. The GM was very kind in resolving the issue. I will definitely try Capers again but next time it will be just my wife and I and maybe one other couple. Big parties can be a challenge.
My family and I visited here on a whim while traveling, and we came away with a wonderful dining experience! Our service was excellent and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the various dishes and specials. We split the bruschetta appetizer which was cooked differently than anywhere else I had have it, and honestly I could have eaten another order for supper it was so good! I ordered the smoked salmon pasta, which was rich and smokey with the perfect about of salmon to pasta. Likewise, everyone else at my table immensely enjoyed their meals. We split the toasted strawberry pound cake, which was heavenly. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family in the area!
Why have you not been here?!. I have been going to Capers for roughly 4 years. Convenient location, great atmosphere, and fabulous food. We have tried many items on their menu, lamb lollipops, hawaiian ribeye, crab cakes, spicy bow tie pasta, along with a few others and specials. Check this place out, it is a must!
Excellent Service and Food. Always have a great time at Capers. Owners are family oriented and very friendly yet professional
The crab fingers appetizer with garlic bread is unreal. It is SO GOOD. We also love the house salad, and the barbecued salmon with creamed corn is amazing as well.
