Good people but the quality isn’t that good. I guess that is what you get with fast food barbecue. Strong smoke flavor but not in a good way. Green beans have no flavor, the potatoes were really boring too…no need to go back…

Give it Another Try!. Just went to Dickey’s last night, and the food and service were excellent! It seems they may be under new ownership/management, so give them another chance. We had a group of 6, and all ordered different things, so I was able to try several different meats. The chicken was seasoned well, and was very juicy. The sliced brisket was just downright amazing (behold that beautiful smoke ring!), as was the pulled pork and Virginia ham. Ribs were just fall-off-the-bone tender. Everything was smoked perfectly, and served piping hot. None of our food was laden with fat as previous posters have stated. Everything was as fresh as could be. Food is served un-sauced, so you can choose your own favorite. Dickey’s is very picky-eater and child friendly too, and there is something for everyone here. Also, the sides are really good. The mac n cheese is hot and creamy, and the baked potato casserole is a must try. Of our party of 6, everyone had different meats and sides, and not one item went uneaten. The soft serve machine and cones were an unexpected treat, and the kids (and adults) loved it.The entire staff was great, and able to explain the cooking process for all of the food. We had no problems here whatsoever, and will definitely be back. Please try it again, and support local businesses in Kennesaw!

My family ears here often! The food is great and so is the service! My husband loves the sausage and I love the chicken. Our favorite sides are okra and Mac n cheese! Totally recommend!
I just went here for lunch and got 2 meat plate to go. first, the owner wasnt friendly when i walked in at all. i had to ask for my receipt and for a fork to go. before i left i asked if i could get sweet sauce to go and the guy acted like i was a bother and snipped at me that he already put reg in the bag. got back to work and the portions of meat where small, brisket was fatty and my pulled pork was so dry! i tried the potatoe casserole and it was cold. best part was the baked beans and roll. maybe bbq is better later in day or eating in. but will never go back because of service
Great BBQ! We never knew it was there. All around great food. Best ribs I have had in a long time!
