Being Mexican I can say this place gives mexican food a very bad reputation. Nothing is made fresh and it all tastes like it came out of a can. The meat is dry and over salted, probably a poor attempt to cover the disgusting flavor of the carne sada I orderer. The chips and salsa were stale and the cheese dip was chunky. I would have had a better experience if I had gone to Taco Bell and stayed home. Complete waste of time and horrible experience. PS. Please clean your tables and fix the cracking walls and horrid smells that smacks you in the face when you walk in the front (side) door.
Fresh original taste. Found this place by accident and THANK GOD we did! I love the wrap around porch, on a nice day I would recommend eating outside. The one things I was mostly impressed by was the Chicken tortilla soup. It’s made from scratch!! It wasn’t full of preservatives or high amounts of salt. The ingredients were simple: chicken broth, lime, cilantro, tomatoes, chicken, rice, avocado and some crunchy tortilla strips to top it off. DELICIOUS! The Nothing was overly cheesy or spicy, it was definitely an original flavor. A new favorite!
Lunch. I recently had lunch and really enjoyed the Azteca Soup. It was the best Chicken Tortilla Soup I have ever had.The Service was excellent and the restaurant facilities are kept immaculate. Looking forward to my next visit and plan on bringing my family.
Love this place, great food!. I visited this place & it was warm enough to sit out on the patio. It is in an old house & has seating on the porch. Food was excellent as well as the service. Definitely recommend this place!
Bland, bland, bland. Living in SLC for 12 years, my mouth was watering for chili verde. I was expecting the savory stewed pork with green chilis, married together into a can’t-be-duplicated flavor experience. Sadly, while the pork was tender, the sauce was a flavorless green perhaps not even chilis. The beans were flavorless tasted canned. The tortillas were not browned, and not fresh. My partner’s beef burrito tasted like a can of tomato paste on greasy hamburger. The chips tasted like more grease than corn. Overall, big disappointment. Oh, the only good thing was the fluffy rice.
Solid.. Cute little place. Nice outdoor patio too! Hot, fresh, FAST food. Huge menu selection. I really enjoyed it! Looking forward to returning sometime soon!
