You have to try it. Amazing authentic Greek food! Absolutely loved it!
Amazing food! We decided to drive from Acworth to try this place based on reviews, and boy, we were happy we did. The service was outstanding and friendly and the food was soooo good!We had the Salad plate (we were just going to have some appetizers but it was suggested that the Salad Plate was less expensive). For that plate we had the hummus, Dolmas and the Tabbouleh that was served with a pita and sauce. For our entrees, we had a Falafel sandwich and the Business Lunch Combo, which includes shish kebab, kofta kebab and gyro slices served with rice, salad and pita and a soft drink.For the starters, the hummus was the best weve ever had rich, flavorful and served with a pouring of a beautiful olive oil. It was incredible. The Dolmas were wonderful full of flavor and tender and delightful. The Tabbouleh was great! We dipped our forks in the hummus then in the tabbouleh and the flavor was beautiful. We would be delighted to have this combination again.The Falafel sandwich served in a delicious pita with hummus, tabbouleh and tahini sauce was also delicious and huge. The falafels inside were crispy and full of flavor. It was definitely something we would have again.The Business Lunch Combo was huge. My favorite was the gyro slices and the rice. Im not a big beef eater and the shish kabob was a little chewy for my taste. But the peppers they cooked with it were incredible. I could make a meal of those. The Gyro slices were excellent would like to eat those every day! The Kofta Kebab was good but not something I would not order again. The rice was flavorful and there was plenty of it. We took half of our meal home for dinner and paid less than $30 for both of us. Great value!Im not crazy about the plastic knives and forks, the tiny napkins and the plastic plates but I understand the need for them in a place that small. The restaurant was welcoming, attractive, clean and we enjoyed being there. The iced tea was fresh and excellent. I would like to see a sampler plate that you could pick your items for a set price. Mine would include the hummus, tabbouleh, a container of olive oil, falafel, dolmas, the grilled peppers, the gyro slices, some olives and feta, pitas and the tzatziki and tahini sauces. That would make an excellent meal. It would also be good if it was served on a number of plates to keep the spills down (we were messy!).We will certainly go back here again. Keep up the food, the wonderful ambiance and the caring customer service! Thank you for a great meal.
Fine Fast Food. Mediterranean Bistro opened very recently in the same location where Buckhead Burrito used to be. Bad location for entrance and egress….traffic is heavy.The menu is wonderful. We have needed a middle Eastern restaurant in this neighborhood. The food is fresh and authentic, at least to my palate. My favorite is the salad plate in which you choose from a variety of freshly prepared items. I usually get the hummous, dolmades and tabbouleh. Now this is the rub; the salad plate is almost $10! Not a place that I will frequent often. I mean this is a store front place. Not exactly a place with atmosphere. But the cashier is very friendly.Since you order at the counter for food to go or to eat in, why is there a tip jar? I mean really. I am ordering and paying for someone to pack up my food and I am supposed to tip?
AMAZING PLACE. BUSINESS LUNCH COMBO GET’S A+. I have eaten here 6 or 7 times now and finally decided to leave a review. A+ 5 stars. The Greek food is better than anywhere in Atlanta. I am lucky to have this place so close to my office. The service is great. They are so nice. A family run business that knows how to treat customers. If you haven’t tried, please do so. The business lunch combo is a great value and you get tons of food. Must get a side of the garlic sauce for dipping the meats. Thank you!!! Keep up the great work.
Great!. While my wife is skeptic about trying anything other than the typical American fare, even she agreed the dinner experience here was above expectations. The food is great which complements the helpful and fast service.
Kennesaw’s New Gem!!. My husband & I just visited this place for the first time a couple of weeks. (We used to visit that location when it was a burrito shop.) The owners are VERY nice & the food was just delicious!!! I’m a vegetarian, my husband is not, & we were both beyond pleased with the cuisine. All fresh & perfectly seasoned! After the first visit, I had a craving for their hummus & got take out a couple of nights later. We are getting more take out tonight, if that tells you anything 😉
