I have been going to Old Towne since I was in high school, but I have frequented less since moving away. Its you typical bar inside with a bunch of television screens and wood covered walls. The food is very go and they offer a diverse menu. Starting with the appetizers they have the standard fair but the Original Magpie is great. Thought it was a dip but it comes out on a large tortilla chip like pizza with dip and various other toppings covering it. My go to for a entree here is the patty melt, its tasty and cheesy but they have many other dishes to offer. I have never had the pizza but it looked good, its also hard to find a bad pizza honestly.
What a Disappointment!!!!!!!. It was my first time there and we were a party of 8 for my son’s birthday. The first I was greeted with was an unhappy face that we were 8 people. We were first told that it would an hour because there was only 2 tables in the entire place that seats 8 or more people. I agreed to wait seeing it was Saturday evening. We were then asked to split up our party so we could be seated faster and I said no. After an hour and fifteen minutes, I asked the hostess for an update and was told that it was going to be while because people keep coming in to one of the party’s so they’re going to be here longer than expected. I handed my coaster back in and said goodbye. Didn’t get to speak to a manager about it. Was told to on my out to come back and see us. Seriously?
