Ahi Tuna nachos are some of the best I have had. Also got the buttermilk chicken sandwich with the homemade hot sauce. It was great also. Only reason for 4.5 is the homemade chips were to greasy and didn’t eat any of them. Service was nice had a good experience. I would recommend eating there.
Trackside Grill is one of the few places in downtown kennesaw that is a sure bet. I have had several menu items and have enjoyed every one of them, from the burger to various sandwiches and salads. Very cozy atmosphere and friendly servers, the only draw back is the sub par cell service which shouldn’t be a reason not to try Trackside!
My husband and I had lunch at The Trackside Grill in historic downtown Kennesaw, Georgia today. We started with the Housemade Pimento Cheese (served with sesame seed flatbread). It was a nice sharp cheddar, but not too strong – loved it! The Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes (served over sweet creamed corn and wilted spinach) were a close second to the crab cakes we had at The Stockyard in Nashville, TN in 2003. The crab cakes at The Trackside Grill had a nice brown crust with more crab than cake – absolutely delicious! We also ordered the Pan Seared Scallops (served over a prosciutto and roasted corn risotto & brown butter vinaigrette). The sear was not as dark as I like it, but the flavor of the scallops beat any we’ve had closer to the ocean. We washed it all down with drinks served in wide-mouthed jars. The building has lots of character inside and out with a casual atmosphere. I happened to notice their score was 100, and the ladies room was immaculate. We are planning to visit many more times as there were several more dishes on the menu we want to try.

Had an awesome first experience at Trackside last night! Wonderful service and food. I had the pasta special and my husband had the shrimp and grits. Both were excellent! Awesome drink selection as well. Will definitely be back, and soon!
We eat at Trackside frequently. It’s always good.
