The worst dining experience ever. I was in a party of five on a Saturday night. I understand that there aren’t many dining options in Camden County, and places tend to fill up, but we were told twenty to twenty-five mintutes. Thirty minutes later they sat two people at a table for six, while a table for four sat open waiting to be cleaned. Ten minutes later we asked how much longer, and we’re told that tables were open and needed to be cleaned. After another fifteen minutes of not being sat we walked out. The food here is average at best and the staff really needs to get it together.
Don’t understand the bad reviews. We went here a few nights ago with a group of 6, and it was fantastic! The bread comes with two different oils to dip in. The calamari is served with three different sauces. The sweet chili sauce sounds weird to be paired with calamari, but it was AMAZING. I had to ask the waitress what was in it! I got the almond crusted mahi mahi, which was fantastic, and I tried the Gorgonzola sirloin and liked it as well. Not to mention this place is SUPER cheap! They have an $11.95 and under menu (the sirloin is on that one), a $14.95 and under menu, and a $15.95 and under menu (my mahi mahi was on that), as well as some more expensive options. Great place!
Food okay/ service is the worst. The hostess there cussed a customer in front of me out. We regretfully decided to stay after this incident. My husband ordered a steak and I got a dessert. the food was pricey but it was okay. the only plus of this place is 2 dollar drinks.. You would have to stay drunk to eat there though!
Great Steaks/Everything else, horrible. The steaks at this place are some of the best I’ve had however that isn’t enough to make up for their problems.During one visit my husband ordered lasagna and bit into a huge piece of parchment paper suggesting that the meal was premade and microwaved. The waiter apologized and gave us a dessert item on the house. This was a wonderful gesture but at that point our appetites and opinions were ruined. The restaurant itself is not attractive. Whereas the outside of the place looks wonderful the inside is a big let down. There are huge stains on the carpet, the blinds look as if they haven’t ever been dusted and there are always blown light bulbs. The wait staff can really be snobby and we’ve caught them making fun of customers. If you decide to try the steaks, order them to go.
Good food, Bad Service. I usually have a steak but this time I decided to try the Gorgonzola burger. It was really good. Service was horrible. Could not have been worse. They kept missing the drink and food orders all night long. I guess they were missing a couple of waitresses and had the bartender out serving. Kind of disappointed. Thank god I was with good company and with plenty of beer.
Loved it!. From start to finish my experience at the Millhouse was exceptional! The managers were present on the floor at all times helping run food, talking to guests, holding doors. The Chef came out to check tables…Our server was very knowledgeable. I had the 16oz Ribeye with the Truffle butter. It was cooked to a perfect Medium Rare with just the right amount of fat and seasoning. I also had the Pulled Parmesan Potatoes with a creamy cheese sauce on the side. The potatoes were out of this world Delicious! The skin was crispy like a potato chip and the potatoes were crunchy and cheesy on the outside, soft on the inside. YUM! I will say this side dish was decadent and heavy with a strong Parmesan cheese flavor but I loved it! I ate the leftover steak the next day and it was JUST as delicious and tender. My husband had a Burger which was perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful. The Homemade Steak Sauce was different and very yummy. The service was great and the experience overall was very enjoyable! I would recommend this place.
First time-last time. I took my mom here for a decent mothers day dinner. I hate sending food back or complaining at restaurants, but this place earned one of the few times I did. The owner, service and hostess were nice but the food sucked. The appetizer (fried mozzarella marinara) was ok, not memorable at all. We had the porterhouse for two, with pulled parmesan potatoes and truffle creamed spinach. the potatoes were burnt and covered in powdered parmesan. The steak while being huge was mostly fat and the texture seemed like it had been frozen. The creamed spinach was the worst of all it was pure salt. So much that it was gag inducing. The owner seemed genuinely concerned at how bad it was. Hopefully we were just there on an off day.
