Don’t bother with this place, Capt D’s is much better!. Food is below par. Service not much better. We have been going here for years and it has really gone down hill. I had fried shrimp, the batter was not done,the French fries were over done ! They forgot one of our meals, never apologized , never offer to take anything off the bill. Table was almost finished eating by the time we got the last meal ! Just not impressed with this restaurant anymore.

AMAZING. They always have great food. The steaks are cut fresh to order, (i have seen the owner/ chef thru the service window) the seafood is fresh and prepared to order. Beers are always cold w/ frost on the bottle. Raw oysters are better than some i have had at the beach. Its truly family owned and operated, i think most everyone is related in some way. Kid friendly atmosphere. We usually try and eat here few times a month.
If you loved the food at the old Spring House Inn, then this is the place for you. The menu is basically the same with the entrees prepared the same way. I recommend the burger and the popcorn shrimp. Really yummy fries and fried mushrooms, great homemade salad dressings.
We ate there recently. Started with homemade chicken rice soup which was great. Then had fried Shrimp special which was good – fresh shrimp not pre-breaded. Waitress very carrying & friendly.
Simple but great!. I love the Cove, I eat there often and it is always the same great food and service. I mainly eat some sort of salad if it’s lunch ,but love the patty melt , fried chicken liver or oyster’s.Their steak is good ,I think the ribeye is the best.
