Came in for lunch, crowd was starting to dwindle. The service was good, but I could tell we were at the end of the shift. Menu/board looked like it was trying to do too much, so I stayed on the menu, eating the gyro from the card, not anything on the specials board. Delicious gyro, with little to take away from the lamb. Good choice for quick bite of lunch, the ambiance would seem a better fit for a leisurely dinner though. 30 bucks (with a tip) for two may be a little high for the area, but the clientele played the part…. If I’m ever in these parts again, I’ll try dinner!
This was our first time dining at Mare Sol. The food was amazing! The Lobster Dip is a must have with plenty of lobster meat and lots of cheese. My husband had the fried pickle spears where they used the deli style pickles. I had the grilled pork chop and my husband had the salmon. Both were wonderful. Then at our waiter’s suggestion we both had the White Chocolate Bread Pudding. Yummy!!
