  This was our third 4th time here and it was fantastic again. We used to go out of our way to go to Cracker barrel on occasion after church, but no more, this is our new spot!! I have had the fried chicken which had a lot of flavor and the pot roast which was so tender and flavorful as well. The collard greens are the best I have had. The few restaurants that serve collards are always so bland or bitter. I like that they have a large selection of sides. The squash casserole was great to; its just too bad its not offered every day. The place says its the home of the famous honey butter biscuit and I can see why, almost like having dessert. I like the atmosphere and the wait staff has always been friendly and fast. We really like the atmosphere; very cozy as my wife says. I would definitely recommend dining here as I have done so already with my friends and family.

  The food is ok but the service is absolutely horrible!!! Nearly half the place was complaining about the service and the slowness. The waitresses need a lesson in efficiency.

  Honey butter biscuits are great, beyond that it’s not good. Food was not seasoned, service was slow, never saw our waitress after she brought the food. Third time, I really want to like this place it it’s been the same every time.

  3 words…honey butter biscuits!! They bring them to the table to start you off but you’ll be asking for a few more for dessert! We’ve eaten here many times and have never had anything that wasn’t delicious! Its the best country cooking around!
