Sunday brunch was okay.. Not bad for a quick brunch on Sunday morning, if you are in the area. The omelet was well done, the hash browns were from the freezer at Kroger and the service was attentive. The atmosphere was nice but the lip ring on one of the waitresses was a bit of a turnoff to my morning appetite.
4:30pm Family dinner. Fast service, hot food, average taste. Finally made it out to mcrays after years of passing by. I wouldn’t rush in again because there are better places to eat. However I wouldn’t turn down a visit if the crowd was insistent.
Going downhill. This place used to be good, not anymore. Bad service, hot foods are served cold, and really not all that great as far as flavor goes. This area has been getting better restaurants lately…go there instead, don’t waste your time or money coming here.
Horrible service!!! I would never recommend this place to anyone. In fact I will tell everyone from Georgia to my trip back to Texas not to go here. The food was decent if u ever get it. I had to go up to the bar get a drink, pay for it. Then be seated again. Also they put the nice 18% tip on your bill as well. If you like to be disrespected by the waitress with the childish eye rolling and huffing, getting your appetizers before a simple drink , then you would like it there. But highly not recommended place to eat or drink.
I love this place. Everything about this place is good but nothing is great if that makes sense. You will not be disappointed in anything but you might not be running home to tell all your friends about it. Menu items can be found in lots of restaurants but you will enjoy what you have here more than there. The bar decor isn’t going to blow you away but when you’re on the rooftop patio relaxing, you won’t have a care in the world. The servers are going to inspire you into a great restaurant experience but they will be friendlier and better than what you are typically used to. Overall you can expect a good experience here that you will enjoy even if it might not blow you away.
Rooftop Dining. I ate dinner at McCray’s a few months back after visiting Exhibit Ale and it was pretty good. I ate on the roof and it was neat to look around at everything. The drink selection was good. The food was ok. Nothing bad about it, but nothing to make it special. I would go back to sit on the roof and have a few drinks!
