Rude! Rude! Rude!! I had my daughters first birthday cake make at this location. I never dealt with them but my mother in law did. So I called to order a cake for her third birthday but I was told to send an email. Well I emailed two weeks straight and would receive different answers each time or no answer to my question. Just a two or three word reply. I was told different prices on a personal cake for my daughter. Then turned around and told they don’t make personal cakes only it they are turning one. Well if I’m paying $100 for a sheet cake you would think they would make it happen!! But I was told on previous emails that I could get a one layer for $15. Ok no problem. Until I was told $40 in an email that followed. Bull crap. They lost my business. Unorganized. Uneducated because apparently they cannot read. Rude and passive. I’ll make my own cake before dealing with those jerks

Great cake, great icing, caring loving staff. Feels like family when I walk in! I would recommend to anyone. It is so good.
Customer Service Sucks. Well I will start from my own experience..I tasted a cake baked by Cakes by Ella at a wedding it was VERY GOOD..now it’s time for me to purchase my own cake for my husbands birthday, so I called a lady answered the phone and I proceeded to ask my questions as to what type of cake I would like to purchase and prices….The person who was on the other end was VERY VERY snappy as if I was bothering her talking very low and made me feel as if I was getting on her nerves. So I got a few prices and told her I would get back with her very soon..But just so you all know because of the way she was on the phone with her CUSTOMER SERVICE I WILL NOT BE TRAVELING TO CAKES BY ELLA i don’t care how good this product is learn some manners if you want to stay in business…thank you but no thank you
Lack of Concern/Poor Customer Service. Until this past weekend, I had only positive things to say about this bakery. I placed an order for my son’s birthday cake a month in advance. Ella herself took the order. She made her notes and asked that I email pictures to her that I wanted incorporated into the cake. About 3 weeks prior to the date, the images were emailed as requested. I never received a reply. I called 3 days prior to the day of the party, never received a return call. I called back the day before the party and she was totally lost. She could not recall the conversation she and I had when I placed the order so much that I told her to disregard the whole conversation. The day of I go to pick the cake up, it was totally wrong. I asked for a white cake, the whole cake was yellow which was suppose to be one of the colors of the decorations not the entire cake. I expressed to them that my cake was not correct and that I was not happy because it was not what I ordered. They tried to sell me on why the cake was ok despite their mess up. Nonchalantly I was given $10.00 off a $100 cake and thrown my receipt on the counter by the other employee. We cut the cake…again wrong. I asked for chocolate flavored cake, I got a german chocolate cake. Tasted awful. I had previously read the review on here an other sites about the poor customer service and now I have had the same experience. Its really sad that when you patronize a business that could potentially have a good product that it is destroyed with such poor customer service/etiquette. I received a call today, after the fact, from a lady stating that she was following up to the message I left last week. I told her that I placed the order and already picked up the cake. Also told her about the poor experience and she too was nonchalant. IF YOU VALUE CUSTOMER SERVICE, CHOOSE ANOTHER BAKERY BECAUSE THIS IS NOT IT.
Love this bakery! Simply a jewel. If moist, delicious baked goods is what you desire then look no further. Cakes By Ella is the best… Highly recommended.
BEST WEDDING AND GROOMSCAKE I’VE EVER EATEN. From Beginning to end Cakes by Ella was great. I arranged a tasting with Ms. Ella a month before my brother’s wedding. Although it was short notice, Ms. Ella was able to fit me in and provide me with a sample wedding cake that I tasted in the store and the cake was large enough to bring home for the entire family to sample. After having tasted numerous dry cakes, this cake set my taste buds on FIRE! I ordered the cake. Ms. Ella delivered in a big way. Ms. Ella was not only on time she arrived 10 minutes early to set up the cake. The cake was a HIT! The crowd went wild. Presentation and Taste were better than any wedding cake I’ve ever eaten. I recommend everyone to try her. I’ll upload the photo Wednesday.
