I will not go back. Tons of yelling! Food was actually good. No utensils and the guy at checkout was rude. My waiter was ok but kept saying he needed to make money.
Back to their old antics. Well we’re back to the old crappy Steak and Shake that I remember – The manager that improved the restaurant is gone and the poor service is back -I will not be however- what a shame21 Mar, 2014Much improved. We used to go to this restaurant once a week; but the service and food quality kept steadily getting worse .Two months ago – because of poor service we left and have not been back. Until tonight, much to our surprise they changed the management , service was excellent , the staff friendly and food delicious. We will make this part of our weekly routine.
It’s a Steak n Shake.. This was, of course, a standard Steak n Shake. Busy, weirdly cold, and antiseptically identical. But! This was the fastest, most efficient one I’ve ever been in, and that was worth some major kudos. I consider Steak n Shake the lesser evil among fast food giants of similar stature, but they are ALWAYS bizarrely slow, especially considering that they are cooking burgers so thin they’re surely done in mere seconds on that huge flat grill. THIS one, however, was shockingly reasonable in their turnover. And the service was really nice, even at stupid-late on a weekday.
Food looks better than it is. Shakes are great.. Once I ordered their A1 burgers (mini). The sauce was NOT A-1. I complained. The cook insisted it was. Finally they brought me a BOTTLE of A1. I showed the server the difference in color between A1 and whatever the cook had given me. Finally she believed me! Service generally isn’t that good. Some low priced menu items. The shakes are really good if you like shakes.
Very great burgers! And the shakes are great. I love to try new ones everytime I go but my all time favorite would definitely be the half and half chocolate and vanilla. Mmmmmm mmmmm!
