The wings were great- mixed drinks were kinda pricey and had more mix than alcohol. Other than that I had a good experience.

WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!. Went to Three Dollor last night for the first time. Sat down, and server came over after about 5 min., she looked pissed that we were even there, we asked for menu’s, she took our drink order , I ordered a layered beer (Abita Purple haze and Hoegarten) she (the bartender, as well) acted as if I had no idea what I was talking about, mind you I am a bartender. So she brings our drinks and the beer was flat, at that point I was almost scared to complain about it, becauseshe was so nasty. She didn’t bring the menu’s and ran off before i could ask so I got them from the hostess, who looked less than pleased as well. They were not busy so I have no idea why it took her 10min to return to the table everytime. she got our order. I ordered cheese sticks and a chicken sandwhich, and my boyfriend ordered wings, it was all very good. She hadn’t brought us silverware so i had to get up and get it as well. I got up to tell her we were going outside, and she was rude as usual. We decided to leave and got the check. I have NEVER not tipped, NEVER!!, but I gave her exact change. The beer selection is good but was flat, and the service was beyond bad. I am not sure how she is still employed. I felt bad for the other bartender, who seemed to be the only one with a personality, because she probably has to split tips with the other girl. I may go back but I will request another server.

Good food, lots of beer choices. The local franchise of Three Dollar Cafe is a regular watering hole for the 21-30 something crowd. They recently replaced their old taps with a huge variety of domestic and imported beers (60+), while keeping a great selection of bottled / canned beers as well. The bar and wait staff are entirely female from what I’ve seen, so take from that what you will. The food is average priced fare, with a few selections being really outsanding. Namely, the grouper fingers, and the jerk chicken wrap. The Nacho Mountain is great to split if you’re out for a pitcher or two of beer. This place goes from being dead on weekdays to overly packed on the weekends. The patio is the smoking section, so outdoor dining may be a non-option for non-smokers. If there’s no space in their parking lot, don’t park at the IHOP…Park at the Dollar General instead..if they’ve already closed for the evening, you won’t run into any trouble doing this. The time between ordering and receiving your order is always good, but if the place is busy, it may be a while before you see your server again.Drink prices are generally good, but import pitchers can get a bit high. Ask to see the tap menu before ordering your favorite! There are always a couple dozen television displaying various sporting events, both indoors and out, and the patio is enclosed and heated during the winter.
