Oh my gosh, what a surprise!. Had the great pleasure of of having dinner at Sapelo Station twice over the 4th of July weekend. Everything was so fresh and simply prepared! Wonderful cole slaw, not to much mayonaise. Fresh caught Georgia Shrimp, very lightly battered and so sweet, they melt in your mouth! Sweet potato fries, and Onion Petals, to die for.You can run in for a burger, or enjoy a delicious steak too! Family friendly, coastal and local hang out! Will be back when in the low country again!!!
Come on down. If you want to be truly appreciated, come eat with Clay at Sapelo Station. You will not be disappointed, the food is awesome, local and fresh. Clay never misses an opportunity to ask you if you are enjoying your meal, if all is well and thank you for your business. If you happen to comment, or suggest an improvement, he takes it under consideration and makes changes if he sees appropriate. We are local and it is our FAVORITE !!
Best Seafood Ever. We ate there this past Saturday and it was the best food we’ve had in a longggg time! The Boom Boom Shrimp were to die for (we even ordered another basket). We will definetly be back! The service was also great and the drinks were really good!
We’ll miss Sapelo Station!. For several years, my husband and I have been making the fifty minute drive to eat at Sapelo Station once a month or more. It is our favorite restaurant in the area – great food, friendly staff in a casual atmosphere, and always a greeting from Ray…it all keeps us going back. We will miss it! So very sorry to find it closed! The best to Ray, the great chefs and staff. J&J
GREAT GRUB! Cocktails superior. I don’t know what that jerk was talking about. My family and I visit the coast at least 2-5 times a year and ALWAYS make it a point to eat at Sapelo Station. Their food is excellent, their staff is friendly and super attentive (regardless of race, age, etc!) and they make mean cocktail. You get what you pay for and the chef always comes out to the dining room, making it a point to talk to his patrons.! Just sad they will be closed the week of Thanksgiving. my family’ visit to Sapelo station is highly anticipated
A very nice place !. Robert Coram needs to know what he’s talking about before judging.The black man you say we ignored is my yard man.he’s been coming here for 5 years&usually calls in order.He comes early &if’s not ready sometimes he pay’s then & leaves or pays when he get’s back.This has never been a problem.WE WELCOME ALL HERE &DON’T APPRECIATE YOUR COMMENT FEEL FREE TO CALL ME.CHEF RAY 912-8323555
NOT A NICE PLACE. Tonight while having dinner at this restaurant I saw a black man enter and sit at the bar and tell a waitress that he wanted to place a takeout order. The waitresses avoided him and instead waited on other patrons. At one point he spread his money out on the bar. But no one would wait on him. Eventually he left without placing his order. I am no flaming liberal, but right is right and wrong is wrong. This was wrong. Maybe this is why McIntosh County is still locked firmly in the 18th Century.
