To begin, the name Speed’s is ironic. This is not fast food … And thank goodness for that. Everything is cooked to order and served hot. Seafood restaurants abound all along the coast. This is one of … if not the best! It is everything you would expect when you go to the coast and expect fresh seafood. My 9 year old grandson said it was the best hamburger he had ever had. I will never know. (Poor kid. Says he doesn’t like seafood. He will learn.) looking forward to my next trip to the coast and a meal at Speed’s.

Good Seafood. Speed’s is a locally owned restaurant that you have to drive past the middle of nowhere to get to. The food is good, probably the best in the area. However, the name is not an indication of how fast your food will get there. The kitchen cooks the food as you order it. If you order the stuffed flounder be prepared to wait an hour and a half for it.Take a book.
