Great Burgers & Great Service. Mu husband and I were in Chops this past Thursday and we had an excellent experience. The service was great & my burger was cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and can’t wait to go back to try more entrees!

First Friday Fail. I went to Chops around 6pm with a family friendly group of 9 (3 kids) and we were promptly seated. So far so good! The waitress asked for our drink order and brought us 2 incorrect drinks. No worries…this happens especially with 9 people who order different drinks. We then ordered our meals and dined on some delicious potato chips right from the fryer. I was really enjoying the place by this time…especially the live musician!Sadly, things went downhill from here. We waited about 30 minutes for our meals which is not uncommon. During this time, all of us needed a refill and the waitress disappeared…so, we went up to the bar area and filled our own drinks. The other wait staff watched us do it and didn’t step in to help. You’re asking how it could get any worse….it does. When our meals were delivered, we found that the waitress had messed up 5 of our orders (mine was one of them). She was so embarrassed that she let another waitress take over.After finishing the meals, we asked for our check. I was hoping to see a manager of some sort apologize and give us our meals for free…sadly, there was no manager in sight. In fact, my check showed that I was charged for my original mean (filet medallions – $14.50) when I was really served (fish tacos – $10). 2 other party members had mistakes on their checks too.I will NOT be back and will be informing as many friends and family members in the Milledgeville area to NOT give this place a chance. The only way I’d go back would be if the manager apologized for making our First Friday an epic fail. Thanks Chops!
Great food. Our service was pretty good but we really haven’t had exceptional service anywhere in the city so far. Thanks Chops, for a great dinner overall.
Nice Atmosphere and Yummy Food. I have the pecan crusted chicken, and I really liked it. This is a nice place for couples. I don’t think I’d bring the kids, though.
