Horrible owners. I enjoy the employees at this establishment the food is subpar but the owners are awful if they are not getting drunk at the bar they are either causing a scene with customers or even the bands that they are to lucky to even have. I’ve seen one of the many owners yelling at a band member for not playing extra time than what they were paying for and I’ve heard employees talk about how bad and mistreated the owners do them so Buffingtons gets a bad review in my book and they can be sure I will never eat or drink there again because of them. Not the employees but the OWNERS.
Just had the bob Marley soup, and wow I was amazed. Flavorful, creamy, and just enough heat to hit the spot, I will be getting this again!!
Great food and even better People!. Being from out of town, I eat at Buffington’s every time I visit Milledgeville! The food is GREAT! All the burgers are delicious (even the veggie burger) and you MUST try the fried pickles! What’s even better are the people. The bartenders are so friendly and genuinely seem to care about you and your story. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great bar with great food!

Love this place for lunch! They have a great veggie burger that can be substituted into any of their delicious burger combos (try the cry baby : it’s not as hot as you would think), and a solid beer selection that regularly rotates through seasonal beers. Also, don’t forget desert!! Funnel cake! (Yes, I said funnel came, and I was as happily surprised to see it on the menu as you are reading this review!)
Eat in the Buff!. Buffington’s has been a downtown Milledgeville staple for at least a decade, and they remain an outstanding establishment. My husband and I shared the fried pickles appetizer and we each ordered a burger. Still the best burgers in Milledgeville, and still a laid back vibe. If you want casual dining in Milledgeville, try The Buff.
Great burgers and wings. In my opinion they have the best burgers and wings in Milledgeville. The burgers come in 1/3 and 1/2 pound sizes. The staff is friendly, fast, and helpful. Great watering hole too, if that’s your thing.
