Having been at this restaurant on my last business trip, late 2011 and experienced great service and good tasty food, this last trip left me disappointed. The Carne Asada was grissle and fatty. Salsa was tasteless but very hot to the taste. I won’t be going back to margerita’s on my next trip to Milledgeville .
This place is really spectacular! I have no idea why it isn’t rated higher. Good food. 98% Health Board rating. The menu is extensive. The wait staff is super friendly. Most of all, the atmosphere is on par with famous Casa Bonita in Colorado or Disney World: The chairs are decorated with hand-painted toucans and flora, the main dining room has a large fountain, and every room has epic looking murals of historical moments. One even displays a Georgia-themed Civil War scene. Don’t let all this flair scare you off though. Most entres are under $10! See you at the bar!
