I have been a customer of Metropolis for 3 years now and can honestly say it’s my favorite place to eat in Milledgeville. I would recommend any of the gyros, kabobs, falafels, hummus, Indian food or any of the other specials throughout the week. They also have a good selection of beer and wine and the prices are very fair.
Good but needs a boost!. After moving to Mville last year, we have eaten here about 6 times. We love the greek and indian food, however, the place needs a boost. It’s pretty dark in there. Add some color to lighten up the place please!
This place had a nice friendly atmosphere. Staff friendly and attentive. Portions were adequate with a fair price. I plan to return and try more of their menu items
The service was good. The beer was cold. The sampler, which should showcase the truest of greek flavours, was very bad. The fahlafel was WAY over cooked and dry. The hummus was apparently kept on the salad bar. It had bits of salad items in it that were old. The olive leaf wrapped items( I forgot how to spell them) were from a can. Worst Greek attempt I have ever seen!
I love the spanokopita. The food is unique in Milledgeville. The staff is friendly and helpful.
A great place for a leisurely vegetarian lunch. The falafel is pretty tasty (I would try the falafel wrap), and the hummus and baba gahnoush appetizer is a must to start. There is a small but ever-changing beer selection, and a small outdoor area for those wanting to enjoy hookah.
Great Place. Eat here all the time. Love the hummus and chicken kabobs. Service is usually great and food is fast and tastes excellent. One downer-you will burp up hummus all day long, but thats just free seconds.
