Turkey And Dressing. NO turkey in the turkey and dressing26 Apr, 2015Fried Okra. Hard and inedible okra26 Apr, 2015Fried Green Tomatoes. Soggy and cold fried green tomatoes26 Apr, 2015Horrible. Serving lady was rude to a blind man who couldn’t see the vegetables, the food was cold and unflavored, instant potatoes, turkey and dressing that had no turkey, soggy cold fried green tomatoes, and hard over cooked fried okra!
I do not recommend this place. It was not good. The food was cafeteria food but it was below the quality you would even expect at a cafeteria. Nothing here is fresh. Everything seems to come from cans and they offer no seasoning on the meat you get. The meatloaf I had was dry and the people there barely spoke to me while I was there. I found 0 reasons to ever return.

Food is good…. The prices are high; the portions are small. Parking is an absolute nightmare. If you like to stand in a line to receive your food like in middle school, chances are you went to Golden Corral. If you prefer to be seated with a waitstaff, chances are you went to Cracker Barrel. At either place, you got more and paid less, and even the constantly full parking lots of both is nothing when compared to parking downtown.I just cannot find the appeal of the place.
They have real home cooked food that is awesome. Cafeteria style. Thier banana pudding is the best I have ever had, simply delicious!
You have to like Southern cafeteria food. Because if you don’t, you’re wasting your time. This is the food I grew up on at my Grannies’: fried chicken, fried okra, fried anything. It’s a good step above Picadilly and the like. Maybe not everyday, but it’s still a lot better than your local DoodleBurger joint.
Good for a quick Sunday lunch!. A typical southern cafeteria line with good meat and vegetable choices. Prices are okay as well.
