Loved it!. The best Caribbean food I’ve had since moving from Philly 8 years ago. The Brown Chicken Stew was especially great and so was the Jerk Chicken. I love that they serve mixed veggies in the cabbage. I’m so satisfied with this place and hope they stick around!
FINALLY!. I am so happy to finally have a Jamaican restaurant in the Newnan area. What’s even better than the location is the food! The food is so fresh and delicious. My children are fans of the jerk wings. The food is authentic. Love it!
I’ve been to Jamaican Delight twice since it’s opening. I’m willing to cut this new, small business some slack because the food is amazing! My portions were plentiful and the curry and jerk chicken is great! Give it a try. The food is well worth a few minor start-up, hick-ups.
The first time my coworkers and I came here, they were only taking cash. So we had to leave. The second time I went, I got there at 11:30 am, the door says they open at 10am. They had did not have everything ready. The portion of curry chicken was very small for the price. Since they did not have everything that came with the meal, I ordered a piece of coco bread and the guy tried charging me for it. This time I had cash and when I paid, they had no change. I wasted 20 minutes waiting on the guy to go next door and get change. Then he had the nerve to say this is my tip cup if you want to put anything in it…I’ll never come here again.
