They did the tv makeover ! The food is superior bar food. They are very accommodating in off the menu foods. I’ve had burgers and cheese steaks and they have been great ! Home made sides too.06 Feb, 2014This joint needs a TV makeover
I continue to go to Ralph’s because it’s a convient location, but I refuse to step foot inside again. The food is average most of the time, but the service is TERRIBLE. I have only liked one server and the new management fired her. The servers always have drama between themselves and they show it while on the clock. I ordered an appetizer of mozzarella sticks. You get 6 for almost $8. They had one table and my food still took 22 minutes!! When I asked why it was taking so long, I got nothing but attitude from the bartender and didn’t get an apology. I do NOT reccomend coming for drinks, food, or service.
We ordered the fried oysters, (paid extra for the fried) which were very good. Our entree was the rib eye @$14.99. Sorry but I MUST have my A-1 steak sauce. The waitress brought us an EMPTY bottle of A-1. We requested another bottle, but was informed that Ralph’s did not have another bottle. (Get real) There is a Publix located a few stores down. Ralph’s did not have a single bottle of A-1 and the waitress brought an EMPTY bottle. This would be poor management of supplies. On top of that, they had the nerve to charge for a meal I sent back as unsuitable. (we did not pay for the untouched meal). But because of Poor supply managment, it will be a long time before we even think of going back to Ralph’s.
Cough Cough. We initially came here because I had a coupon. I ordered grilled white fish — which was delicious. I was also impressed with the broccoli, which was nicely seasoned and not overcooked.We came a second time. I ordered the same thing. This time the fish was lacking and the brocolli mushy.Both times the place was smokey. The first time (I guess since I enjoyed my bargain meal) it didn’t bother me too much. Second time, when the meal wasn’t as good (yes, I had another coupon), I thought ‘why subject myself to this!’ The manager assured us they were getting a filtration system to eradicate the smoke … but if they have, it doesn’t work. (I poked my head in a third time, and ended up leaving.)
Poor drinks from female bartender
This is bar food, not pub food. And it can be really good, but…. … because it’s a bar, it’s a smoking joint. This can be a deal breaker for some.But if you can handle it, you’ll be rewarded with good, genuine American bar food from an extensive menu.
