I’ve had occasion to visit 45 South Cafe several times – initially due to my friend Gerry making the nifty book-matched wood counter in the front as a table-for-stools. I’ve purchased several coffees and specialty coffees and all were quite good. I haven’t found the need yet to sample the cooked or baked goods, but hope to someday. Wine tasting. I thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting that I attended here. Everyone was so inviting and welcoming. The owners even came over and sat at our table and made us feel as though we had known them and been visiting for years. I will definitely recommend everyone go there. It is definitely an experience that you won’t forget!
Coffee, dessert, wine, beer, sandwiches, and breakfast. Not a huge selection of any of them, but generally pretty good. Friendly people. Live music Friday and most Saturday nights. Enjoy while having a cigar outside with the owner.

Why is this place ranked so high?. This place is not nearly as good as J.R.’s. Not even close in my opinion. It is not as good as IHOP.
