My husband and I visited this place. I wasnt very impressed since I know my Cuban food. We ordered yuca fries and with a avocado cream dip. The yuca wasnt crunchy and the dip was flat. My entree, ropa vieja was mainly tomato sauce flavor, the rice and beans were okay nothing special and the maduros were on point. My husband ordered Cuban sandwich which he claimed to be bland nothing special. The waiter was not friendly. I doubt we will be back.
.Actually I have dined there several times the food has never disappointed me the oxtails are totally the best that I have ever eaten. The waiter was really great,,the chef even stopped by to ask us if we were enjoying our meal, but the only downside was the owner who walked and stood by us several times with no type of acknowledgement ,and the minute a couple came in that sat right next to us. She went directly to them took their order and even served them.I’m not trying to pull the race card but everytime I have been there I have seen her do the same thing. Will I go back yes because those oxtails are worth it.
The food was excellent and the service was impeccable!!!!! I was greeting with a smile! The food came out quickly and the presentation was amazing. This is a nice place for a quick lunch or if you are looking for an intimate place for a date. I will DEF be back!
Awesome experience and amazing food and service! We had the tamales(plenty for 2) along with the trio sauces Mojo sauce home made garlic and oil, and cilantro avocado —the Sebastian cocktail is amaze (only have 2 tops)
First time eating here and it was absolutely amazing. Great food excellent service I will be back here. The tamales where absolutely the best ever. Ask for the home made sauces
Wonderful place. I can’t believe I haven’t written a review before. Food is always fantastic. Lunch portions are a great value too. You won’t be disappointed by any selection. Have a few Mojito’s and some Lechon or Vaca Frita. Better than Havana, and no Marxist butcher!!
Wow! Don’t tell the Alba’s, but this is as good as Isi’s home cooking. Masitas and roast pork were outstanding, and what do they cook those black beans in to make them so delicious? Wait staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Started with mojitos and finished with Cuban coffee – life is very good indeed!
