This isn’t Joe Dale’s (what happened to all the other great Cajun places?) but I still love this place – a bit pricey but if you can make it to the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet it’s well worth it. Go early and load up quick as the line builds. Best things on the menu are the gumbo, etouffee, peel-and-eat shrimp and various fish selections. You get the same stuff in the buffet that’s on the menu (just a limited selection). The humongous bowl of salad is also very good, as are their sauces (particularly like the tartar sauce). I’ve always found the staff to be very friendly, courteous and prompt. Try it, you’ll like it! independentrestaurantreview.com
Aweaome! I love the staff here. It was a good experience. This is my favorite location. Save room for dessert, it’s worth it!! It’s a little pricey, but sooooo good!
Love this place and the service is great! The food is great and the drinks are strong. You can tell the seafood is always fresh. This is truly a favorite of mine!
Mahi Nicholas. Blackened Mahi Mahi topped with blackened shrimp, lobster meat, scallops, fresh spinach and sliced mushrooms sauted in a sherry wine cream sauce.
A must see. This Pappadeaux was delicious. My company held a managers meeting at this restaurant and what a treat it was! I grew up in Louisiana and this is some old school Cajun food! The buffet was the best part and absolutely delicious. The staff was a little confused by our large part, which has reservation, but after they had us seated they were extremely efficient. Great experience.
Wow!! I had a difficult time choosing, but when I decided I was thrilled! Everything was delicious. I’ll be back!
So far the best food I’ve had while visiting this city. With a table full of friends and family, I was able to try a variety of dishes in one sitting. Blackened catfish, Pasta mardi gras, crawfish bisque, shrimp & crawfish fondeaux plus a few specialty drinks and dessert! Everything was fabulous! I’ll definitely be a repeat customer every time I’m in the area. Wish I had this restaurant back home.
