They had a decent amount of flavors but I think not enough still. This place was packed when I got here also! The scoop sizes are insane! I wanted a regular thinking 2 scoops – she gave me 3! The large is 4 scoops – who would eat that?! And I LOVE ice cream. So a small sugar come was just great for me, 2 scoops of birthday cake.
This is one of my favorite Bruster’s Ice Cream locations – mainly due to it occasionally having my favorite flavor, Nutty Coconut. This flavor has apparently fallen out of favor (see what I did?) as it’s frequently unavailable at other locations. This is a rather busy Bruster’s but I like the small, park-like seating area off to the side. Find it near the Kroger at the corner of Lavista and North Druid Hills. independentrestaurantreview.com
Years ago I had the worst experience here. One of the workers screwed up my ice cream twice but somehow tried to make it like it was my fault. The employee must have been having a bad day and cussed at me, yelled at me. Another employee tried to make it right but I was so upset I threw my sloppy overflowing peanut butter and fudge (a spoonful of ice cream) sundea in the trash. I tried about 10 times to contact the owner. Left voicemails. Made trips tothe store. Never got a response. No apology. Nothing. I will never forget this experience. And I have never been back and never will go back.
I dream about brusters. I miss the graham central station flavor so much. When I return to ATL, if bruster’s doesn’t have my graham I very well may cry….the other flavors are good too.
