My favorite sub place in all of Atlanta. It’s actually a regional chain but it’s damn good. I have had almost every sub on the menu and their crazy combination. The meatball sub is crazy good and makes Subways taste like dog food. I even enjoy the tasty Veggie burger sandwich. The subs all have cheese that is shredded and is amazing, especially the provolone. The sauces are also killer like their spice filled cosmic sauce to their tangy thousand island dressing. You can get it there to eat or carry it out but make sure to get a soda on the fountain they have Fanta Birch beer which is hard to find outside of Penn and they also have the red cream soda which is crazy good. Don’t settle for a garbage Subway sub and go to Daves for a winner.

Hey dude. ABSOLUTELY the definition of no-frills, they do have great sandwiches. Stopped in for a quick meatball sub that was tasty. 3 very large meatballs with a nice spice level and a bunch of melted provolone and Romano, and enough sauce to be messy (not a complaint) on a great fresh roll. Inside is large enough to place an order (almost) but the only seating option is the summer patio or winter patio (both covered, for the winter patio they pull out a big heater and close the plastic flaps on the summer patio). Take a date? Probably not. But it may be the best place for a sandwich in Emory village. By the way, I think its Dave taking your order…
