Great addition to the neighborhood!. The tamales are delicious – my favorite thing on the menu! The green rice is SO good – and the cheese dip is pretty tasty.
Order strategically!. The service, in my experience, was standard. We went on a Friday night and the place was packed with a few small parties. We had to track down the hostess, but after a short wait we got a table out on the patio (which is enclosed with heaters during the winter).We ordered chips w/guac and queso to start without looking at the price and got sticker shock once the bill came. $10! Geez. But it was tasty so the shock was fleeting. We ordered fish tacos and the chile relleno for entrees. The fish tacos were flavorful but lacked any kick. The chile relleno was packed with veggies and was a bit light on the sodium (not that it was an issue, sometimes it’s good to enjoy the flavors of the ingredients rather than go stir crazy with salt)The place has great decor and character and is a definitely no more than a neighborhood jaunt. I will admit that it’ll be hard for me to be a consistent customer with their prices for apps, the lack of the standard mexican free chips and salsa and margarita prices. But don’t turn away if you are watching the wallet, just order strategically!

Mexican with a twist I guess you’d call it. The steak and goat cheese enchilada was bursting with flavor and the chiliquiles was wonderful too.
Food was dry, overpriced, and nothing special. Service was horrible, worst I have had in years.
Worst service I’ve ever had. After we were finished eating we waited for over 20 minutes with empty drinks for a server to amble over to ask if we were ready for the check or needed boxes. Great location, decent good but atrocious service.
