I think what made my experience at Saba enjoyable was being with my husband and sister, sitting on the outside patio, and chilaxing on a very comfortable Friday night. What messed up the atmosphere was the smell of trash in the air on the outside patio. Also my food wasn’t that stellar. I mean, it was exactly what the menu said: Thai chicken ravioli with spiach, but it needed salt or…something. My husband ordered some sort of beer, the waiter came back and said they were out, then when we ordered our entrees, my husband ordered the gnocci….ALSO OUT…so he settled for the Italian sausage bruchetta and it was pretty good. My sister had a salad (and since it’s really hard to mess up on salad), it was pretty tasty. Will I be back? Eh…I will try other places in the area first. It was our first time checking out Oakhurst.
Great!. I decided to check out Saba for the Scoutmob discount, and I will definitely be back! The food was excellent and inexpensive. The taste and quality was easily on par with restaurants costing twice as much. They were extremely busy, but our server managed to be polite and attentive and even comped a beer for our wait. Go check out Saba for awesome, inexpensive, and unpretentious Italian!
