Love this place! Locally sourced ingredients, interesting specials, great pizza crust and good beer brewed on site. The loaded fries and bacon knots are favorite apps. This place is a weekly must-have for me.
WORST PIZZA EVER. We went there for the first time, and ordered a simple cheese and pepperoni pizza. There was no sauce, the cheese did not taste good, and we did not feel well for about 5 hours after eating that pizza. Never again at Slice & Pint.
I’ve had better, nearby, for a better price.. Men. I’ve experienced better. While I want to support fresh, local ingredients, I won’t be coming back. Both the food and drinks are significantly overpriced as they lack quality taste. What a shame. Trust me, there are a lot of other places nearby that will give you better food (and definitely better drinks) for the same price or less.
Me and my girlfriend went out for a very rare date night tonight. We decided to go to bad dog, mostly because it had pictures of Boston terriers all over and I had just recently lost my Boston terrier. We waited a bit to be sat, got one drink, then waited 45 minutes before we left. I don’t mean an impatient customer 45 minutes, I mean a checked my phone once I had realized we had been waiting a while, then checked again when I decided to leave. A SOLID 45. I hunted down the manager, explained the situation, and his response was just too check me out and let me leave.Let me add, I’ve been serving tables for 5 years, so it takes a lot for me to leave.Me and my date went next door to slice and pint. It was like night and day. Crystal took fantastic care of us, knew the menu, and showed us more attention than I am accustomed to. She did a better job, dare I say, than I have done serving myself. We explained the situation, and received the best service I’ve ever gotten. I asked to speak to a manager, just to make sure this didn’t go unnoticed. The manager was so sweet, she even offered us free desert. What? I wasn’t complaining, I was already content with the customer service, and you want to buy me dessert?Crystal, the manager, and another server all made sure we were more than happy with our meal without being overwhelming. I just invariably noticed them paying attention and making sure we were pleased. The manager ended up taking off a round of drinks, which was not needed since we had already decided to make this a regular visit, but just gotta to show how focused on customer service this establishment is.I would HIGHLY recommend slice and pint. The food is fantastic and the staff is one of the few I’ve seen that actually care about customers being happy.Be sure to ask for crystal. Some of the best service I (an experienced server myself) have ever received.
Slice and no Pint. I went for lunch and they could not serve beer because they did not have their beer & wine permit…… So I ordered a lemonade ($2.50). Everybody’s lemonade was great and refills were free; slice and no pint’s lemonade had a lot to be desired. After I choked it down when the server informed me that refills were extra! Ridiculous! The pizza was acceptable but cost $14 for an individual pie. I miss Everybody’s!
