My family and I have been ordering from House of Lu for more than ten years. I was very disappointed to see today that my order is very different from the past and I suspect there is a new owner or manager. The portions are about half the size they were before but the price is the same! There is barely enough for 2 people now whereas before I could count on an order from Lu to be enough for dinner and lunch the next day. Sorry, but they have lost a customer.
Great food!. Food is always great but they have the worst water and sweet tea. They need to filter their water or something. Their service is always a little ify, not saying it’s bad but you never know what your getting.
Great Food FAST delivery. Just ordered from this place for the first time… got delivery. They stated 45 minutes on the phone, which I was okay with considering I was ordering at 4:45. The food was to my door in 25 minutes. That was AWESOME. Ordered: Kung Pau Chicken (asked for extra spicy-which they did for us), Pork fried rice, vegetable egg rolls, crab rangoon, general tso chicken (also extra spicy), beef with broccoli & egg drop soup. The fried items were still warm and crispy. The food was piping hot. All of the food was REALLY good. The pork fried rice had a VERY good amount of pork in it. A lot of places seem to really skimp these days on fried rice. Not here I think it may of been a good 1 to 3 ratio pork to rice. The kung pao chicken is always a favorite of mine. The vegetables were mushrooms, water chestnuts and zucchini. They were great. I really don’t like when places put in bell pepper with their KP chicken, and luckily they didn’t. The meat in all of the dishes was tender and cooked very well. Sauces were very good and just enough to pour a little over your rice, but not drowning in sauce. I would TOTALLY order from here again.
Really upset I’ve been ordering here for a while and I’m a regular customer. I as in an accident and can’t drive they refused to deliever because I didn’t order 15 dollars my total was 13 really??? You can’t deliever for a regular because I didn’t spend 2 more dollars!!! They lost a very regular customer!
I’ve been going here 20 years and it always great. The owners are very friendly. Love the sizzling rice soup.
With the limited supply of good Chinese food these days, house of Lu is a very servicable option. No Buffett and white pepper on table: good signs
Dependable Chinese Food. Sometimes you just want good Chinese cuisine at a reasonable price. We have ordered delivery multiple times and found the quality to be outstanding, but best of all it is a consistent, efficient experience.
