JOHNS CREEK:The most tasteless greasy food covered in ketchup. Flan was rubber and silverware was dirty. The bathrooms were gross. The bill was beyond funny for the quality of the food. Presentation was one continous shade of tan with such appitizing names like pork and chicken chucks. Over priced and under quality, amazing anyone goes there twice.
Lunch. We had lunch here today. I had their Wed. grilled fish with veggies. Not the best I’ve had for sure. But most noticed was how dark the place was inside. Hard to tell what you’re eating if the light is so low. Specially during lunch. I would give it 1 star out of 5 for food. 3+ for service cause the waitress was good. I might try it again to prove myself wrong. Maybe……
Delicious and inexpensive! Loved the cuban chicken sandwich. The empanadas were perfect!
We ate there twice soon after it opened. After the first time I said I would not be back because the food had virtually no flavor, not to mention Cuba doesn’t have salmon or the other meats served here. Tried it a second time after friends said they really liked it. We all left very disappointed, I will not. Ever return. Save your money and go somewhere else. Unfortunately, I have not found an excellent Cuban style or authentic restaurant in Atlants. Guess we have to go to Stampa or Miami.
Hideous food. I went with a big group of people from work. Nobody thought their food was great, but mine was horrid. I paid $4.95 for steamed veggies – they were the cheap frozen medley of carrots, broccoli and cauliflower you get at the store, barely steamed to be warm. The fries I got with it had several undercooked ones too. Avoid this place.
Food was greasy and not very presentable. I had the skirt steak and it was very oily. The taste or the food was okay, but the overall presentation was not impressive. My daughter’s food was swimming in grease, so she only ate a few bites before abandoning her plate completely. I think they need to work on presentation a bit and go easy on the oil. I probably won’t eat here again.
Initially, I judged this place based on how many people were inside. It was packed and rightly so. The food more than met expectations. The pork special for the day was phenomenal. Fried plantains… Amazing. But don’t let them try to convince you that they have Dr.Pepper. Iron beer is certainly not that, but it’s really good. Overall experience was great and for $10 an entree, I recommend it.
