It’s ok. The food here is decent… It’s just way too expensive. I could go to a sushi buffet, pay $12 and eat as much sushi as I want. Here, an udon costs $7.50 or more for one tiny bowl. Our family (of just three) spent more than $40 and I don’t even feel half full. It would make sense for the food to be expensive if it was fish or something rare and amazing but we didn’t even order fish. We also asked a waitress questions about the food and what to order and she gave us an attitude like we had to know what we were getting. I can’t speak for the entire service though because of just one person. Overall the place is okay. Not satisfied but I don’t hate it.

Ugggg. Walked down a hallway as you enter the place that had 1980s tile and asian cartoons on the wall. I new from the start I was in for something special. Started with flat soda. I asked for a water instead… Never received. Asked for a second time. Never received. Appetizer came with the food 40 minutes after ordering and was ok but barely warm (fried squid tempura). We also ordered the shrimp tempura roll. Overpriced 6.50 and small for what it was. I have had the same better for 4 bucks. It did arrive early as my appetizer should have. My wife ordered D-43 Oyako Don Bowl of rice, cooked with our special sauce, pan fried chicken, soft cooked egg, and onion in sauce 7.50. The chicken was fatty with grizzle and it looked like something I wouldnt feed my dog and tasted horrible.. Despite saying that we didnt like it after trying they didnt offer us anything no sorry just gave us the check and still charged us for the bowl of dog food. The decor was old and run down and could use a rehab. My wife and I like to try new restaurants for a change of scene. This scene we will not be back to. I’m a firm believer that the reviews are of friends/family of this place. Score F +

Going downhill…. I used to like this place. It was authentic Japanese food created/cooked well and at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, my last 3 visits have been sub-par. The first time I just thought it was a mistake, but the last two times have convinced me that it’s a trend. The service has been rather slow and forgetful and the food is nowhere near as good as it was before. This really saddens me because it was nice having a good, authentic Japanese restaurant in the Atlanta area. I guess I’ll have to try and find a different one now.24 Aug, 2011Good Japanese Food. This is traditional authentic Japanese Food, so if you’re looking for the Americanized stuff then you should go somewhere else. The building doesn’t look like it would house a restaurant, but trust me, it’s in there. The service is really nice. Some good dishes that I’ve had are the Beef Teriyaki, Gyoza, Kushi Katsu, Katsu Don, Katsu Curry Rice, and Buta Shoga. I’ve only been during lunch, so I don’t know what’s on the dinner menu, but I’m sure it’s very good.
