I have eaten tacos all over Atlanta and metro area and by far Taqueria Del Mar are the best. One of these days I will try something else on the menu. The staff is great too!
Exceptional food! I mean flat out excellent. The rice and beans needed a little more seasoning but my steak burrito was flawless. The Fish Taco del Mar and tartar sauce truly hit the spot and my date let me taste her Buffalo Chicken taco. Strange concept but MAN, did it work! Taqueria Del Mar does Mexican food and does it well.
Great food and service.. The food was amazing. The service was very friendly. The only issue I had with the visit was that it says they take square payments on the door, but none of the staff had any idea on how to do it. I would suggest training the staff so that they are aware of all forms of payment. Other then that it was a great experience. I hope to dine there again in the future.
WE LOVE TAQUERIA DEL MAR!. You all accommodated us with a special order of chimichangas, even though they weren’t on your menu. They were absolutely fantastic ! Seriously, please add them to your menu and name them Chimichangas les Angeles, after Gabriel, the customer who requested them. Your customer service and freshness of your food were stupendous ! We also love love love your fish tacos and shrimp po boy tacos! We will definitely be back!
Don’t waste your time. To start with the service was very poor. Now she was obviously new but nobody in the restaurant was helping her.Then they brought us chips with no salsa…we had to order the salsa separate. It was FIVE dollars for 3 tiny ramekins of salsa that weren’t even that goodThen the portion sizes were rather small.We ordered shrimp fajitas that didn’t come out on a sizzling hot plate and was actually only warm instead of hot.There were only about 6 very small shrimp on the fajitasThe cheese dip was very thick and not tasty Then when we replied with an unfavorable review the owner was not at all humble but rather disrespectful …and that is why I’m giving this review here. No…we won’t be back and we certainly won’t recommend this place to anyone..and we eat out ALOT!
Yummy. First time here for lunch. What a hidden jewel by Ingles. I had the corn chowder and it was so creamy and good I was making yum sounds at my table. Tried the fish and steak tacos and I was not disappointed. The salsa is fresh and delicious. I’m coming back. It’s my new work day fav.
