I’m addicted to Mini Hot Pot. It’s healthy and incredibly delicious. Where else can you consume a mondo platter of vegetables and feel like it was a treat? I like the Duluth and the Chamblee location. The Duluth location is much nicer looking and they have a great lunch special. The Chamblee location is more of a hole in the wall but has a more caring family run atmosphere. They are really both great.
Won’t Return Due to Pathetic Food Value. My curiousity made me tried this place for the 1st time as the restaurant was new in town & it has a great visibility from the Pleasant Hill Rd. Interiorwise, it has a chic deco. I ordered the seafood and beef/ chicken entrees that cost close to $30 and what we gotton were lots of scrap vegetables, thin rice noodles, and a few pathetic key ingredients attributed to the entree. I was taken aback as it painted poorly on the owner wanting to maximize their profit.What’s Good: Pleasant deco and having attentive & helpful servers. What’s Bad: 1. Had to wait for more than 20 mins for the raw ingredients. This is very poor as the raw food preparation is usually quicker than cooked food. 2. The value of the food for the price that I’d paid is shockingly pathetic.3. The spicy broth is nothing more than chilli oil mixed with some diluted herbs.
