Good Pleasant Hill Addition. This bakery is located inside the new Assi on Pleasant Hill. They have a wide selection of pastries and breads at get this: $0.99 cents a piece. And did I mention the size of these pastries? The portions are big. Real big. It’s like the size of a freaking softball.I picked up a few that sparked my interest and found that they were hit or misses. I liked the danish like pastries with pineapple flavored cream but found the massive dough balls somewhat dry. The castella-like cake pieces were also somewhat dry but a good accompaniment with coffee or milk.Refreshing, new products different from the Korean pastries I’m used to seeing. A great addition to Pleasant Hill and I hope this business continues to thrive.
