A little disappointing. The place is always busy but the service is not great. The restaurant dining area always has a strange smell as if the tables have been cleaned with a dirty dishcloth. The food tastes good but it always looks like the contents of the plate have just been thrown on it carelessly.

We arrived after 9 hours driving n wanted a good steak so we stopped at longhorn steakhouse n savanna Georgia. We ordered onion soups n we were told it was good. Onion soups must be baked to a brown cheese roping which it wasn’t. The cheese was rubbery. Want to experience true onion soups come to Quebec CanadaHalfway into the soups our expensive ribeye stakes arrived.we sent them back while finishing our soups to be told they would cook new ones. I made it clear to the waiter I wanted mine right of the grill. That never happened because they brought us back the steaks they took back. Fries were warm n soggy. Brought me new fries which were same. Never touch them. I consider long horn stal house as a Fast Food Steakhouse rated at 2.5. $65 later it was a terrible meal. Oh by the way they should train their waiters to time when each meal comes so we r not dished out everything on the table at the same time. Never again.

Over cooked my steak, served me a flat iron instead of a ribeye. Typical chain Resturant I will not be going back.

Went here to use a giftcard, we rarely eat at steakhouses, but thought we would try this location. Walked in at 4 ish, only a few customers.. but we were given a wait time. what? Why? There were literally a few people, maybe 6, eating. Decided to use the restroom, so took my young son with me. The dirty sock smell in the restaurant was bad. We decided to leave, even without using the restroom. Husband was talking to hostess and she said we came at a bad time when servers were switching shifts. How unprofessional, no matter when we decide to eat, we should be treated as other customers who come in. We will never be back to this location.

Try Sam Sneads for a steak in Pooler. I leave in Pooler and will never eat at this Long Horn again. Just too many bad experiences. Service is poor, potatoes always hard, steak very average. If you want a steak in Pooler head over to Sam Sneads.

The Dismal Service of Sunday and 3 hours of Dissapointment. As many of us enjoy going to eat after church on Sunday, I am sure I am not alone. Our family decided to go to Longhorn for lunch. We had 6 in our party, certainly not out of the norm, but this is where the trouble started. We arrived at 12:05pm and it was nearly 2:56pm by the time we were finished. When we arrived we were the only ones waiting, and so our name was put on the list for a large table. After 20min later and 12 other guests going ahead of us, we decided to break up our group into two tables. This was not a way to treat customers, by letting other parties go ahead in masses. I can see maybe one or two, but by letting them all go in first, we were guaranteed not to have any chance of putting two tables together. The front hostess was only interested in clearing the herd of guests like a bunch of cows. Very poor operation, and not even the manager would apologize for the lack of proper handling. But wait it gets better, after splitting into two parties, we were offered our server only after another 15min. It appears that because the servers knew we were treated unfairly, no one wanted to deal with us. So after our server took our order, it was was not until about 40min later that he showed back up to inform us of the bad news. Bad news I said, boy how can it get any better?, I was thinking that maybe they forgot our order, but it was that there was an electrical problem and the fryers were not working, so we needed to order some thing else. About 15min later he shows up with the appetizer of fried shrimp, and stated that they were able to use the residual heat to fry them. Well its was greasy and not cooked through. So we gave it back. Another 30min later we got the dishes we ordered, and while the meat was cooked to the desired level, it just did not go down well. Again, no manager came out to console us or offer any comfort for the problems they gave us. The food was just OK, and really nothing to be happy about it. You would think after all that we had to deal with they would of offered perhaps 10% off the bill, but NO, just the bill minus the fried shrimp. So next Sunday we will be going to Sawa’s Japaneses Bistro where we know we will get great service!

Great service, But too many people!. My girl and I have been to many different Longhorn Restaurants; Shreveport, LA, Monroe, LA, ATL, GA; etc. I’m from Louisiana and she’s from South Carolina. Every last one always had a great waiter. We went to this one in Pooler on a Saturaday night. The place was PACKED! They had some type of party there and the party took up most of the space on our side of the restaurant! I hope they left a big tip because they had at least 40 adults together and a table for the kids. Luckily they put me and my girl at the table behind the kids. Kids was really loud and they kept rapping Wiz Khalifa’s Black and Yellow song. My money says they cant even count to 20, but thats another story. We had a waiter named Brandon and he was GREAT! He kept checking on us and making his rounds eventhough the place was slammed. I made sure I tipped him $30. I’ve had better service at the restaurant in Shreveport, but that was because the place was empty and me and my girl was one of the few customers in there. But Brandon is a great waiter and I strongly suggest to ask him to wait your table for you when you go there. Another thing, who would host a party at a popular restaurant with that many people on a Saturday night? They should have had that like on a Tuesday or Wednesday when it was’t going to be slammed. Food was great, and I promise you that you will leave out full. I will most definetely be back.
